History
The berry fruit complements, rather than overpowers, the bourbon in this sour.
This cocktail is adapted from a 2004 recipe by Jeffrey Morgenthaler, created at Bel Ami Lounge in Eugene, Oregon. Jeff named the drink after a band his business partner, Tony Figoli, had been in years prior. He remarked, "I thought the name was absolutely brilliant, so I decided to do up a drink to commemorate the band – and my favorite spirit at the time."
