History
A calvados-based White Negroni. (Use 50ml, 25ml, 25ml if measuring in ml.)
Adapted from a recipe created in January 2025 by Sother Teague for the Sauced podcast, intended to pair with Moules Marinière. Co-podcaster Tim McKirdy named it "Bouchot" after the French term for the oak posts used in mussel cultivation, the primary ingredient in Moules Marinière. These posts are placed vertically into the seabed in intertidal zones, allowing mussels to attach to ropes wrapped around them. The tidal fluctuations expose the mussels to air, strengthening their shells and reducing parasite and barnacle infestations.
