1 2/3 oz Bourbon whiskey
1/2 oz Apricot liqueur
1/2 oz Lemon juice
1/3 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of skewered orange slice wheel and Luxardo Maraschino Cherry (sail).

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

  1. 5 Garnish with skewered lemon wheel and maraschino cherry sail.

This recipe is adapted from Stanley M. Jones' 1977 book, Jones' Complete Barguide. The (The) BALTIMORE BANG is prepared in a cocktail glass, either shaken or blended. The ingredients are: 1-1/2 oz Early Times, 1/2 oz apricot flavored brandy, 1 oz lemon juice, 1/2 tsp sugar. It is garnished with an orange slice and a cherry.
