History
A bittersweet, cleansing, and revitalising digestif.
In Italy, this drink is known as an Americano Branco and appears under that name in Elvezio Grassi's 1936 book, Mille Misture. While it is an Italian aperitivo, it may be more widely enjoyed in Argentina. This is especially true in the cantinas and cafés of Buenos Aires, where it is referred to as a Ferroviario or occasionally as a "Fernet con Cinzano". Americano Branca (Aperitivo).
