History

Light, fluffy, and fruity; like gin-laced Angel Delight.

The Albemarle Fizz first appears in the 1934 Old Mr. Boston Bartender's Guide. The recipe calls for one drink of Old Mr. Boston Brand Dry Gin, the juice of half a lemon, and half a tablespoon of sugar. These ingredients are shaken well with cracked ice and strained, then topped with carbonated water and a teaspoon of raspberry syrup.
