Serve in a flute glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill a FLUTE GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of watermelon wedge.
Method
- 3 MUDDLE watermelon wedge (approx. 70g of flesh removed from skin) in base of shaker.
- 4 Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
- 5 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish
- 6 Garnish with watermelon wedge on rim.

History
A light, summery, rum-based drink with fresh watermelon and subtle clove spice. Strained into a coupe glass is preferred over a flute.
This drink is adapted from a cocktail created in 2010 by Joey Medrington at Tigerlily in Edinburgh, Scotland.
